Step back in time for a weekend of fire and steel at Bamburgh Castle!
Join award-winning blacksmith Alex Sowden of Hammer and Hound Forge as he leads his skilled forging team through an action-packed weekend of medieval blacksmithing. Watch sparks fly as they create everything from arrowheads to armour, billhooks to blades—right before your eyes.
Taking place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August 2026 in the West Ward, each day will feature different projects, so no two visits are the same. Be sure to keep an eye on social media to see what’s being forged and when!

The staff are always very friendly and go out of their way to help. My daughter loves Warren Mill and is always in the park playing before we start setting things up. It’s a lovely friendly site that I often recommend to people I know.
We hired your BBQ hut and what a fab idea it was! Kids loved it, it was a fab little experience.
Absolutely lovely campsite, great atmosphere, felt really welcomed. Amazing views and great distance from local tourist attractions, will definitely be returning soon!

We have stayed at this park many times and always return it’s a lovely clean well maintained park with super layout in the touring field for the kids playing on the field/park. Family shower rooms really really good and clean. We have also stayed at the other 3 parks you have but Waren is our favourite for a close to home weekend away! Thanks.
Our daughter loves coming to Warren mill and has great fun. The staff are always helpful and friendly and we’ve made lots of great memories and look forward to making lots more soon.

We love this park as the caravans are excellent and always well maintained and of course the Northumberland coast is beautiful.
We love Waren, it is one of our favourite sites. We feel so at home there. It was the first ever site we went to, for our first trip out in our first touring caravan, for our daughter’s second birthday celebrations. It is a tradition now that we go every year for her birthday, and have just done it for the third year running. We love it so much. And long may it continue. Cant wait to try the sister sites, as she gets older. Brilliant site, lovely atmosphere, keep up the good work guys! Thankyou x
