Derwent Fest 2025
Derwent Fest takes place for the fourth time in 2025. This family-friendly festival is a unique take on the summer festival vibe. Set in the North Pennines and bordering Durham and Northumberland, Derwent Waterside Park offers a camping festival experience under designated dark skies.
This year’s event pays tribute to some of the biggest artists topping the charts today and in years gone by. Taking place on 15 & 16 August 2025, Derwent Fest kicks off on Friday evening with a journey through the decades from 60s classics and 70s hits, to the Ska sounds of the 80s.
On Saturday some of the UK’s top tribute bands will take to the stage paying homage to acts including OASIS, Sam Fender, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Queen and ABBA.
We very much enjoyed the campsite. The kitchen area for wigwam users was a great touch and made a huge difference to our dining options. All public areas well maintained and clean.
Absolutely lovely campsite, great atmosphere, felt really welcomed. Amazing views and great distance from local tourist attractions, will definitely be returning soon!
Exceptionally clean shower block and very helpful friendly staff.
We stayed for 2 nights in a tent. Our children loved it! They loved the parks, the outdoor pools, football pitches and large grassed areas throughout to play games.
Having previously mainly stayed at Parkdean Caravan Parks on the south coast I was unsure what to expect, we were delighted with the caravan we stayed in, much better than previous holidays, so clean and spacious, and a great price. Really felt comfortable and safe, which as a single mum of 11 and 13 year old lads is always my concern, so thank you very much for a perfect holiday.
Loved our holiday here. Was pretty much perfect for us with small children. Have already booked to return twice in the summer.
Thank-you very much for an enjoyable stay. It has been my favourite camping trip. I loved the adult only camp area. Highly recommended to friends.
Nice park in an excellent location for touring Northumberland. Good facilities and friendly staff.
A great find, can’t recommend the park enough to others whether seasoned campers or first timers…
We hired your BBQ hut and what a fab idea it was! Kids loved it, it was a fab little experience.
The staff are always very friendly and go out of their way to help. My daughter loves Warren Mill and is always in the park playing before we start setting things up. It’s a lovely friendly site that I often recommend to people I know.
Excellent park, easy to get to, will definitely recommend to friends and family and will return in the future.
