From Good Friday to Easter Monday we are having a MASSIVE Easter Egg hunt. Hundreds of coloured eggs are hidden around the park. Find a red egg to exchange for a Crème Egg, find a GOLDEN egg and exchange for an Easter Egg.

Haddington farmers market offers a great opportunity for stress free shopping in the historic and picturesque country town of East Lothian. Come and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the market, where stallholders offer you a temping selection of home produced specialties. From farm eggs, the best of cheeses, organic vegetables and tasty tomatoes to honey and ice cream. You can buy crusty bread and then purchase the butter or homemade jams and preserves to spread on it. Or, opt for some fresh trout and smoked salmon. Meat treats include local beef, lamb and pork and more unusual meats such as venison– why not give them a try. There’s a good selection of home-baking and regional drinks including liqueurs, plus a selection of handmade crafts and herbaceous plants waiting to enhance your home and garden.

The Beltane Fire Festival is a unique and wild procession of fire, drumming and revelry on Calton Hill. Come along to celebrate the start of summer during the night of 30 April. The four elements of nature - earth, air, fire and water - are brought together at the festival as both visitors and locals alike come together to celebrate this unique occasion.

The oldest golf championship in the world returns to one of the oldest clubs in the world. The course is being tweaked for the occasion, so players should have a few interesting challenges.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the largest arts festival in the world and takes place every August for three weeks in Scotland’s capital city.

2nd – 26th August 2013 – Edinburgh Fringe Festival -
From household names to street performances, the Fringe has everything from theatre to children’s shows, exhibitions, music and comedy. Throughout the summer, the Fringe completely takes over the city’s historic Royal Mile and art house venues, with groundbreaking performances and showcase events. You will soon discover that everything and everywhere in Edinburgh becomes a venue during the Fringe, taking in large theatres, bars, restaurants, churches and even the odd caravan!
