Staged on the Esplanade with Edinburgh Castle as it's brooding background the Royal Military Tattoo has been an international favourite showcasing performers from all 4 corners of the world. Set to pay tribute to HM Queen's 90th birthday while celebrating "Tunes of Glory" enjoy the unforgettable sight of the Massed Pipes and Drums with members of the New Zealand Army Band, Lochiel Marching Drill team, His Majesty the King's Guard from Norway, Imps Motorcycle display team alongside the Royal Jordanian Armed Forces band and Drill Team taking part.

Celebrate Hogmanay by welcoming in the New Year with hourly firework displays from 9pm, counting down to the world-famous Midnight moment which lights up the skies above the capital from Edinburgh Castle and Claton hill with one of the world's biggest firework displays.
